Week Five - 2

Storyboard -

So today with Michael back in class, we sat down together and collaborated on the storyboard. Im artistically inclined with a paper and pencil and Michael is good behind a camera and with cinematography, so collaborating with each other was beneficial both ways. As Michael watched me chalk up an image he was describing, he would smile in agreement and move onto the next shot. I was learning a lot of technicality with the way he was describing each shot in detail and their intended effect. I walked away from this class period more than satisfied.

I also had the opportunity to construct the plot further in a way that was genuine for my character, and for me. We got enough done on the storyboard and had time to begin creating a finalized script for the bedroom scene. Deciding how a conversation about a girl would go between two boys of exactly our age was a fun challenge, and required us to look at ourselves from a third person perspective. While Michael was typing everything up, I hopped on a laptop and stumbled upon an interesting royalty free music site that had some cool sounds. Its called purple-planet.com and even the name has those futuristic vibes were looking for :)
